In Yerkin Tatishev's vision for a modern residential area, the firm is currently constructing an European-style community in Kazakhstan.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2023 in Koktobe City along the Almaty Eastern bypass route.

Koktobe City will include a range of amenities, including four-story houses as well as supermarkets. Additionally, there will be a school and sports facilities.

Kusto Group's goal for the Koktobe City development is to create a community that can meet the needs of all families. A city that is convenient to everyone living there and meets the needs of residents.

Many modern cities are often plagued by outdated infrastructure. Some housing projects do not allow social interaction or areas for sports. Also, they do not separate pedestrians from vehicles. Yerkin Tashev said that these housing projects don't separate work from pleasure.

To be considered to be sustainable it should follow the basic rules. A person should live in an environment that is easily understood and accessible. It should also be accessible.

Yerkin Tatishev gets ideas from Europe
Yerkin Tashev focuses on the quality of living in Koktobe City.

The team's inspiration comes from Finland and Germany and other countries.

Tatishev was inspired by the low-rise buildings parks, low-rise buildings, and the efficient infrastructure of German cities like Dusseldorf, Munich and Berlin.

In Koktobe City, Kusto Group is dedicated to providing a stimulating and contemporary learning environment, complete with different facilities.

In this way, the school will provide rooms for students to draw, sing, play instruments, and participate in team sports.

There are separate buildings for secondary and preparatory schools and a sports and art center. The latter comprises a 25-meter swimming pool, a multipurpose gym, rooms for music and choreography, and pottery and sewing areas.

The Kusto Group prioritizes floor and wall coverings, light, and sound to enhance the health of students in the classroom.

Outside the school, a swimming pool and assembly hall will be constructed.


Kusto Group acknowledges that Koktobe City isn't always family-friendly. For example, parents may be required to leave their children behind to leave for work.
